Larapinta Preschool has been rated as Exceeding the National Quality Standard, which sets the benchmark in early childhood education and care, and outside school hours care services.
Larapinta Preschool follows the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). This framework has a strong emphasis on play-based learning, as play provides some of the most appropriate stimulus for brain development. The EYLF is essential to support and enhance young children’s learning and prepares them well for their transition to full-time schooling.
When the number of children on the expression of interest list exceeds the preschool’s capacity, the Principal of Larapinta Primary School together with the Preschool Teacher in Charge determine which children will be offered a place.
Our Preschool program offers the following class groups:
- Monday / Tuesday 8:00am to 3:30pm
- Wednesday / Thursday 8:00am to 3:30pm
